Is $99 a good deal for an Xbox 360? Well, maybe. If you don’t have a credit card and you don’t mind paying extra for the console over a contracted two-year period.

Microsoft confirms the production will cease on the Inside Xbox video series, which brought a range of original programming to Xbox Live. That means no more Major’s Minute, no more Insider Moves, no more anything under that Inside Xbox brand. According to The Verge, Microsoft is planning to launch a Xbox 360 console package, with Kinect, for only $99. The price of the console will be "subsidized" with a locked in, monthly two-year, $15 subscription to Xbox Live.
