The upcoming multiplayer-focused action game looks to be approachable to all but still rewards longtime fans of the Fable Universe.
The pairing of a console Fable game with an Xbox Live spin-off is not foreign. Prior to Fable II’s release, Fable II Pub Games gave players the opportunity to amass a large bounty of money that carried into the main game. A similar system will be in place with Fable Heroes, the upcoming four-player action game that will unlock additional...

There aren’t a lot of concrete details about this Forza spin-off, but there are some strong reasons for optimism.
The next game in the Forza franchise won’t be called Forza Motorsport 5. In fact, it won’t even be developed by Turn 10. It’s a spin-off arriving this fall by the name of Forza Horizon, and it’s the product of UK startup Playground Games. Now, if you’re a Forza purist who’s already prepared to write this game off, you might want to take a step...

Last year, Microsoft released Kinect: Disneyland Adventures, a surprisingly fun and well-crafted game featuring the titular theme park and tons of Disney details (our very own Jack DeVries gave it an 8.5). Now Microsoft Studios is looking to take a second swing at a Disney Kinect game with Kinect Rush: A Disney-Pixar Adventure. While Kinect Rush bears more than a passing resemblance to Disneyland Adventures, the game takes great strides to forge its own piece in the family fun market, offering...

Like many others, I have both loved and hated Achievements and Trophies at different points in time. I now sit at a point where I care about them far less than I have in the past, and I could not be more thankful for that.
The PlayStation Blog today published a list of the most Platinum’d games on PlayStation 3. Platinum Trophies, contained within many but not all games, are handed out for earning every Trophy a game has to offer. The difficulty and amount of time required to earn a Platinum...

Though it’s not advertised as such, Mass Effect may be the most successful episodic series ever made. Since we saw the last Half-Life episode, BioWare’s entire space trilogy has played out over three successful installments, each one refining the flaws of the past. Of course, Mass Effect is a bit different than Half-Life in that you play a character wholly defined by your own choices; Shepard’s status as a no-nonsense renegade or a peaceful paragon hinges on countless player...

DackDavrosWhat a fascinating game. Part RPG, part shooter, part adventure game, part bizarre dating/friend making sim. This game does...

The original release of images was accompanied by the news that Doom 4 was canceled, but developer Bethesda shot down that rumor. I checked with Bethesda, and I’m waiting to hear back...

We unleash our inner beast, duel with Darth Vader, and even dance the night away in the latest build of a game made in a galaxy far, far away.
The last time we had a hands-on with LucasArts and Terminal Reality’s Kinect Star Wars for the Xbox 360 was way back at last year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo. Back then, we used the Force to push away droids and slice up foes with a lightsaber on Bespin. Xbox Singapore recently held a Star Wars-themed event where the main focus was...

An image reportedly from Assassin’s Creed III has leaked.
The image allegedly comes from Best Buy’s internal employee news and was sent to Kotaku by an employee.

The image clearly features Native American influences, including a bow and arrow, headdress and necklace. The character is also wearing cowskin boots and holding what appears to be a Revolutionary pistol.
This seems to confirm popular rumors that the third installment of Assassin’s Creed will be set in...
