U.K. Charts: Sniper Elite V2 digs in at no.1 for second week

Sniper Elite V2 has maintained its lead on the U.K. All Format Charts for a second week running. The World War II stealth-based shooter held off both FIFA Street and FIFA 12, which had to settle for second and third place, respectively. Elsewhere, PlayStation 3-exclusive actioner Starhawk debuted at 17, while claiming fifth place on the PS3 Charts. Prototype 2 and Mass Effect 3 round off the Top Five. 25% of GameStop stores will no longer stock PSP games

The largest video game retailer out there, GameStop (AKA EBgames) will be removing PSP games from 25% of its North American stores.  "The consolidation is occurring to maximize the merchandising space in the smallest 25% of stores," said a GameStop representative to Kotaku. Microsoft announced that Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition has broken "all previous digital sales records." They say it sold more than any other title in its first 24 hours on Xbox LIVE Arcade. Rockstar has lifted the lid on two of Max Payne 3’s arcade modes for your consumption, namely Score Attack and New York Minute. These extra modes are said to augment the single-player experience with an injection of ‘intense bonus shootout challenges,’ and allow gamers to rack up a high score to net exclusive multiplayer avatars and XP.
