Sony finally spoke up about a potential solution for the lack of multiplayer weekend events in Mass Effect 3.
Though it’s still a bit vague, we finally know that the problem is being assessed. A Sony representative told Shacknews, "We are currently working together with EA and BioWare on ain implementation to bring Mass Effect 3 multiplayer weekends to PS3."
This even has missed a a few weekends already for PS3 users, so hopefully that topic is also alleviated.

The button-mashing outing depicting the One Piece universe is coming stateside, as announced by Namco Bandai this afternoon.
Modeled by the Dynasty Warriors games, players take command of One Piece protagonist Monky D. Luffy and combat waves upon waves of enemies in expected fashion. As expected, since this is an anime-based game, it takes many of the styles from the series and will give players some very over-the-top combat sequences.

After keeping Prey fans in suspense for the past two months, publisher Bethesda has finally confirmed Prey 2 remains in development. It has, however, been delayed out of 2012 according to a surprisingly straightforward statement released earlier today.

If a leaked listing on Amazon is to be believed, then Activision’s just announced James Bond game, 007 Legends, will have Kinect support when it releases this fall. The entry (which has since been removed) was snapped up by Eurogamer, and reveals not only Kinect support for the game, but also an apparent release date; October 16.

The official PlayStation product page for God of War: Ascension now uses the tagline “Before he was a God, he was a man” and boasts a Spring 2013 release date.
Update (10:30AM GMT):
Sony has now come out and officially announced God of War: Ascension, following various leaks.
Sony says the game will be the most ambitious God of War adventure in the series yet, and would take us back to where it all began.
