The U.S. release of Pikmin 2 for Nintendo’s Wii console is now set for June 10, 2012, a morning press release confirms. The much-loved GameCube classic received a 2009 Wii-make release in Japan, Europe, and Australia as part of the publisher’s New Play Control! series, but a U.S. version never materialized. Rumors of the Wii port coming to the U.S. first surfaced in April, and now we have confirmation straight from the source.

Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) boss Jack Tretton has revealed he’s none too keen on the idea of next-gen consoles blocking the ability to play used games.
That’s at least according to Wedbush Morgan’s Michael Pachter, who revealed Tretton’s stance on the blocking of used games in the latest episode of Bonus Round.
It is Tretton’s opinion that second-hand games are “great for consumers” and to remove the ability to play them would be an “anti-consumer”...

Sony has confirmed that shooter Red Faction II will be made available as a PS2 Classic on the U.S. PlayStation Store this week.
Originally released on PS2 and PC in 2001, Red Faction II takes place five years after the events of its predecessor, and utilizes an enhanced version of Volition’s Geo-Mod engine.

Crystal Dynamics has announced that the launch of its upcoming Tomb Raider reboot has been delayed until Q1 2013.
