The Far Cry 3 multiplayer closed beta will run for two weeks this summer on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. In the beta, up to 16 players will be able to shoot it out on multiple maps in all sorts of different modes, including Firestorm mode, with six different playable classes. The Far Cry 3 beta will also include all sorts of weapons with hundreds of upgrades and customizable options available. Sounds to me like they’re cramming a whole lot of awesome in to this beta.

Capcom’s reveal of the PlayStation 3 and Nintendo 3DS Lost Planet spinoff EX Troopers is still only hours old, but this debut trailer offers more info on what to expect than anything we’ve read so far. While you get a fair amount of trailer-y cutscene action, you also get a decent sense of how EX Troopers plays. And wouldn’t you know it? It looks an awful lot like any other Lost Planet game.
The bulk of the revealing gameplay footage pops up in the latter half of the trailer, with...

I was actually really surprised when cooking simulators took off the way they did when motion controls entered the scene. Then again, I shouldn’t have been since I know several people who wish they were great chefs just as much as others want to be rock stars or any other fantasy video games offer. Order Up!! introduces a neat twist to the idea – taking the idea of cooking and combining it with the fast-paced life of a cook in a restaurant kitchen.
Order Up!! began life as a Wii title,...

The release date of Darksiders 2 has been announced by THQ. You’ll be able to play with Death as he journeys to save his brother’s name on August 14, 2012.
THQ has a lot riding on the success of Darksiders 2, as the company recently layed off a slew off employees and the company’s president took a 50 percent pay cut, signaling to investors a desire to be a lean, more focused company that puts out successful games.
THQ also announced that the game’s been pre-ordered...
