Rockstar has lifted the lid on two of Max Payne 3’s arcade modes for your consumption, namely Score Attack and New York Minute.
These extra modes are said to augment the single-player experience with an injection of ‘intense bonus shootout challenges,’ and allow gamers to rack up a high score to net exclusive multiplayer avatars and XP.

Tecmo Koei has said it aims to sell one million copies of its upcoming beat-‘em-up Dead or Alive 5.

EA Sports’ Chief Operating Officer Peter Moore has said that a large portion of gamers are still hesitant to divulge their credit card details for online purchases in wake of the PlayStation Network hack.

The NPD Group has revealed that bloody open-world sequel Prototype 2 was the best-selling game in North America for April 2012.
Developed by Radical Entertainment, Prototype 2 managed to beat out competition from Star Wars Kinect, as well as fending off new releases such as Mario Party 9 and The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings.

Capcom has forecast sales of seven million for upcoming horror sequel Resident Evil 6.
The figure comes as part of the company’s predictions for its FY2013 line-up, though doesn’t include the PC version of the game. Resident Evil 6 launches on October 2, 2012 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
