At the end of this month, the Nintendo 3DS will turn one year old in the United States. What a difference those past 12 months have made. For Pokemon Black or White players who acquired Reshiram or Zekrom respectively but had trouble convincing a friend to trade their legendary monster for a high level Patrat – now you’re in luck. As of now, very little is known about Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2, outside of their platform (Nintendo DS) and release window (this June for Japan and this Fall everywhere else). It looks like Japan is getting another color to add to the 3DS rainbow this month. The new Cobalt Blue system, pictured below, is set to hit Japanese shelves on March 22 for the usual 3DS going price.

Fans of committing intergalactic genocide rejoice – the original Metroid for NES is now available for purchase on the 3DS eShop. This classic, side-scrolling, action platformer introduced the world to Samus Aran, a bona fide badass and the toughest bounty hunter in the galaxy.
