Come On! Heroes is a new DSiWare twist on the defense genre. The game’s title is meant to be read as a spoken provocation, I think, since the game casts you as a villain named Archer who’s kidnapped a princess and is daring any do-gooders to come to her aid. You control Archer as he runs back and forth behind his fortified castle wall, launching arrows and setting traps to defeat any would-be rescuers that try to attack and save your rightfully stolen hostage.

Release Date Given For New Suikoden on PSP

Back in September during this year’s Tokyo Game Show, a new Suikoden game was revealed. RPG veterans will remember Suikoden well from its heyday on the PlayStation, and iterations in the franchise have been on the likes of PSP and PlayStation 2 ever since.
This new Suikoden game, known as Suikoden: Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki, is a PSP title, and according to Andriasang, it will come out in Japan on February 9th, 2012 (see for yourself at the game’s official site).

PS Vita RPG Ragnarok Odyssey Given Release Date

RPG fans know Japanese game developer Game Arts pretty well. This is the studio responsible for classic franchises like Lunar and Grandia, and more recently games such as Project Sylpheed for Xbox 360. This team even had its hands on Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

On December 17th, the PlayStation Vita launches in Japan. And now, we have the very first commercial, 15 seconds in length, promoting the product. Check it out below.

Putty Squad Announced For Vita Launch

It’s a good week for retro revivals – hot on the heels of Codemasters’ announcement of a new Dizzy game comes this news that Putty Squad is being resurrected as a PlayStation Vita launch title.
The new game comes 20 years after the original release of Putty Squad on the Amiga in 1992. The original developer, System3, returns for this re-release, which sees the game get a much-needed graphical overhaul, some added secret levels and touch controls.

You may know Sony’s first party developer Zipper Interactive for its SOCOM series, as well as its massive online-only PS3 shooter MAG. And today, the studio revealed its newest shooter, Unit 13, which is exclusively for the PlayStation Vita.
