I used to love Sony.
The Sony I fell in love with won me over from 10 years Nintendo loyalty. I lost my faith in the N64 within six months of launch: After I’d stripped Super Mario 64 and Mario Kart 64 of every last drop of entertainment they had to offer, and I couldn’t see much of interest in the near future besides Zelda, 18 months away. So I sold my N64 to a roommate and used the money to buy a PlayStation, a copy of Suikoden, and Tomb Raider. From that moment, the PlayStation never...

TT Games’ open world crime drama LEGO City Undercover, one of the more highly anticipated Wii U launch window titles, is now officially confirmed for a March 18, 2013 release on Nintendo’s latest release calendar. Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon follows a week later on March 24, also the same day that Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity is released for Nintendo 3DS.
That’s not all. March 5 sees the 3DS release of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate, which...

Crash Bandicoot was very nearly the star of his own Nintendo DS game, called Crash Landed. Renegade Kid was reportedly working on the title for Activision sometime in 2008/2009, and a newly posted video from Nintendo World Report gives a glimpse at what might have been.
The demo video’s gameplay, which Renegade Kid’s Jools Watsham tells Destructoid was put together in two weeks, features Crash as he hops and spins his way around a 3D beach setting. It’s not clear why the game was...

The ThunderCats cartoon first aired way back when I was a kid. It was a show that my brother and I watched every Saturday morning, so I am quite familiar with the look and feel of the series. Of course, the new DS game ThunderCats is based on the new ThunderCats series that first aired a year or so ago, but I

Nintendo DS (and 3DS) owners will be shouting "Thundercats, ho!" later this month when Namco Bandai releases Aspect Digital Entertainment’s Thundercats DS game on October 30, 2012. Most recently pegged for a September release, a new trailer confirms the October date alongside a few brief flashes of Thundercats doing their thing on the pint-sized DS display.
Reports describe Thundercats as a straightforward brawler in which you play as Lion-O and friends as they take on the evil Mumm-ra’s...

In the X-Play exclusive video you see below, we get a first-look at Rovio’s Bad Piggies. This sequel to Angry Birds tells the other side of the story, a story about courageous pigs beset by terrible, murderous birds.
Where Angry Birds has players trying to knock down pig-built structures, Bad Piggies’ gameplay involves building. Construction, not destruction. You’ll use machinery — rotors, propellers, engines, etc.– and other materials to construct vehicles that propel...
