Max Payne 3 hasn’t actually been released yet, however, that didn’t stop Rockstar from today releasing the game’s official launch trailer.
Max finds himself in São Paulo, Brazil, protecting the family of a wealthy man in hopes to leave his troubled past behind. Of course, things never go Payne’s way, and he finds himself having to fight his way through drug addiction, as well as thugs susceptible to bullet-time.

Batman: Arkham City will be seeing its final piece of DLC, titled Harley Quinn’s Revenge, on May 29.
The new trailer, shown below, gives us a clear look at Harley’s new getup – less color, more black, a veil, and dark hair. It’s almost as if she’s mourning a loss or something…
Players will alternate between Batman and Robin in this roughly two-hour DLC pack, to put an end to Harley’s revenge scheme.

Ubisoft today announced the first DLC pack for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, slated for release on July 3. The Arctic Strike Map Pack takes players to the streets of Moscow to the far reaches of the Arctic. The pack includes multiplayer maps, a new multiplayer mode, a new Guerrilla Mode co-op map, and six additional weapons.

Sony has unwrapped a shiny new Resistance: Burning Skies trailer for your consumption.
The PlayStation Vita-exclusive shooter is due out on May 29, and takes place around the time of Resistance 2, with players fighting off invading Chimera forces in the U.S. as fireman Tom Riley.

Bethesda’s slapped a western release date to Arkane’s upcoming Dishonored, confirming the game for release in the U.S. on October 9 and in Europe on October 12.
Due out on PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360 platforms, Dishonored is currently in development under the watchful eyes of co-creative directors Raphael Colantonio and Harvey Smith, and takes the form of an assassin/action hybrid.

Stealthy sequel Hitman: Absolution will be released globally on November 20, Square Enix has revealed.
Absolution will be released for PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360 platforms.
Elsewhere, the publisher also confirmed that it will release Hitman: Sniper Challenge for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on May 15. The shooter will be made available exclusively as part of a pre-order incentive for Absolution.

Speaking during an earnings call this morning, Sony Computer Entertainment chief Kazuo Hirai confirmed that PlayStation Vita has sold 1.8 million units globally as of March 31, 2012.
Hirai described the figures as “a good start” for its flagship handheld console.
“A game platform, like Vita – the software is the key to success, how good the software is,” he commented. “We have to reinforce the software area in order improve the business, that is the basic line.”

Developer Traveller’s Tales is chiselling away on a Lego version of Lord of the Rings, according to a listing on ShopTo’s official website.
The retailer quickly pulled the product information page, which listed the game for an October 26 launch. Only the Xbox 360 version was mentioned, though we can safely assume it’ll arrive on other platforms including PlayStation 3.
