FromSoftware shutting down Demon’s Souls’ servers

FromSoftware has announced the official shutdown of the online servers for its hit title Demon’s Souls. During today’s Global Gamer’s Day conference in Las Vegas, Namco Bandai announced that the Western release of Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch has been delayed to 2013. Namco Bandai has announced that Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is headed to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in September. The console version of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is slated for a September release and with it comes new modes and a larger roster than the arcade version. Speaking during a press conference today, series producer Katsuhiro Harada said the console version will have more than the 44 playable fighters on the arcade version. Sony Computer Entertainment today revealed that the classic PS One RPG The Legend of Dragoon is coming to the PlayStation Network on May 1, according to the PlayStation Blog. Released in North America for the original PlayStation in 2000, the game takes place in Endiness and features multiple playable characters. NetherRealm Studios released a new video today for Mortal Kombat on PS Vita, featuring Kitana. The Vita version of the game will include 150 new Challenge Tower missions that include DLC characters, and it will utilize the front touchscreen and accelerometer in ways that are designed to enhance the experience. Konami releases patch for Puddle

Konami today released a new patch for Puddle to help alleviate loading times. The patch is now available via the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade. Puddle is a physics-based puzzle platform game and began as an independent project from six students from France. In addition to reducing load times when restarting a level, the patch will include an updated leaderboard display, and address minor tweaks throughout. The demo is also impacted by the patch.
