Eutechnyx will be following up 2011’s NASCAR The Game: 2011 with the fall 2012 launch of NASCAR The Game: Inside Line for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii platforms, a press release confirms. The developer’s first crack at the pro racing license for Activision fell a bit short of the mark, as our NASCAR The Game: 2011 review states, but Activision’s clearly has faith in the follow-up.
And why not? Eutechnyx is known best these days for its free-to-play PC racer, Auto Club Revolution....

Curt Schillings’ 38 Studios, developers of Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, have reportedly bounced a check for $1.125 million to the state of Rhode Island. The money was meant to payoff the overdue part of a loan given to 38 from the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation. Earlier in May, the company defaulted on the $75 million loan from RIEDC.

More than two years after Infinity Ward founders Jason West and Vince Zampella first sued Activision, their case is finally set to head to trial on May 29. The Far Cry 3 multiplayer closed beta will run for two weeks this summer on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. In the beta, up to 16 players will be able to shoot it out on multiple maps in all sorts of different modes, including Firestorm mode, with six different playable classes. The Far Cry 3 beta will also include all sorts of weapons with hundreds of upgrades and customizable options available. Sounds to me like they’re cramming a whole lot of awesome in to this beta.

Batman: Arkham City’s Harley Quinn DLC is coming out at the end of this month, and to get you psyched, RockSteady has released a Harley Quinn trailer. This is the first story-based DLC released since the game came out, and Quinn is a favorite villain in the franchise, so I predict big things.
