UPDATE:

The patch has now gone live.

"We have just deployed a fix that should address the issues some people have been experiencing in Red Dead Redemption online multiplayer," a company spokesperson said.

"This fix should address a specific issue that was found where the player’s multiplayer avatar, their horse or their weapons would occasionally not be visible in multiplayer games as well as an issue that some players were experiencing where they would lose connection to the various multiplayer modes."

ORIGINAL ARTICLE:

Red Dead Redemption owners in the U.S. have been reporting on a series of pesky bugs cropping up in the game’s multiplayer modes, including the decidedly conspicuous (and somewhat humorous) ‘invisible horses’ bug.

Fortunately, developer Rockstar Games has issued a statement confirming that the firm is aware of these issues and is currently working hard to resolve the problem: "We’re aware of the issues some people are experiencing on multiplayer and we’re working hard to fix them," the company told Kotaku.

"If you’re having issues please email RDRSupportteam@rockstargames.com. We are also actively on the forums helping people with any questions they may have about the game."
