It’s been a while since we’ve seen a Pokemon game that doesn’t follow the predictable, ever-popular formula of so many of the colour-coded titles, but taking a risk on Western Pokemon needs, Nintendo has seen fit to release a usually Japan-only pokemon release in Pokemon Conquest (known in Japan as Pokémon + Nobunaga’s Ambition).



Jickle is a Pokemon fan, and knows the series back to front, so we let him have at Conquest to see if it has the chops to make a dent in the West, and while it arrives on the aging Nintendo DS platform, he feels it’s definitely come up trumps.
