Starting on April 19, 2012, Microsoft will kick off its Entertainment Unlocked promotion, giving all Xbox Live users — even those without a Gold subscription — access to a variety of entertainment-oriented apps. The promotion will run from Thursday, April 19 through Monday April 23. Normally, you would need a Gold subscription to enjoy the full suite of entertainment apps that Xbox Live offers. The weekend promotion will remove that restriction, but it’s not a full-on free weekend...

Following the November 6 release date reveal, Halo 4 made its much-publicized appearance on Conan O’Brien’s TBS talk show Conan in a nine-minute sketch which may or may not confirm that the show’s host and his longtime creative partner Andy Richter will be lending their voices to the game. New Halo 4 footage appeared on Conan tonight. It came on the tail end of a rather lengthy comedy bit featuring 343 Industries’ Frank O’Connor and Kiki Wolfkill alongside Conan O’Brien and Andy Richter. Capcom has announced that the demo for upcoming open-world RPG Dragon’s Dogma will hit Xbox Live and Playstation Store on next Tuesday, April 24th in the US and April 25th in Europe.
