Yesterday, Ubisoft released a slew of new Assassin’s Creed III screenshots. While they don’t offer quite as much information as the game’s first images, we can still learn a lot. Here, we see Connor looking down at Boston Harbor. While much of the verticality in Assassin’s Creed III will come from climbing trees, this shot confirms that the game will also feature plenty of the franchise’s usual rooftop scaling. The first details about how Assassin’s Creed 3 will play on Wii U have been reported. The latest issue of Nintendo Power (via NintenGen) describes how the Wii U’s touch screen controller will function as a link to the Animus, the futuristic piece of technology that provides series protagonist Desmond access to the memories of his ancestors. Darksiders II is a Wii U Launch Title

Vigil Games has confirmed that Darksiders II will be a launch title for the Wii U. Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two has been confirmed for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii. According to producer Warren Spector, the game will feature voice acting for every character. Ubisoft Annecy has been revealed as the studio behind Assassin’s Creed III’s multiplayer component. An update on designer Tim Browne’s Twitter and LinkedIn profiles notes that he is Lead Game Designer on Assassin’s Creed III multiplayer, specifically adding that he’ll be working with Ubisoft Annecy.
