WWE’s Summerslam pay-per-view is approaching, and that can only mean one thing – a full unveiling of THQ’s next annual iteration of Smackdo- wait, that’s not quite right this year.
THQ has gone back to the drawing board with its WWE franchise, throwing out the Smackdown vs. RAW concept and franchise for a fresh start. We’ve all heard the horror stories of people smashing their TVs, their friend’s faces, or their pets while partaking in the motion-controlled gaming craze. Are gaming companies out to get us with their newfangled motion controllers? Is this a secret plan to have us eliminate one another by making us use our underdeveloped physical skills? Hudson’s Master Higgins is almost always found doing the same handful of things. Running, jumping, collecting fruit and riding skateboards in inappropriate tropical areas pretty much sum up his activities in every Adventure Island installment that’s been re-released in the Wii Shop so far – from the NES original to its TurboGrafx sequel and all the way to WiiWare’s exclusive remake.
