It’s another light-release eShop Update in the wake of last week’s 10 free NES games shipping out to 3DS Ambassadors, as only four new titles have debuted today for Nintendo’s different download shops. Two DSiWare, one WiiWare and one 3DS Virtual Console title is what we’re getting – so let’s jump straight into their reviews right away.

The Zelda director and producer recently admitted in an interview with Game Informer that, despite multiple attempts, Link’s first adventure was too much for him to handle.
“I’ve never actually finished it,” Aonuma said. “I almost feel like there’s still no game more difficult than it. Every time I try to play it I end up getting ’Game...

Back in July, IGN reported that the address www.modernwarfare3.com redirected people to www.battlefield.com/battlefield3, EA’s official site for its upcoming shooter.
Activision didn’t get the joke, and took those who registered the address to court, where it had to provide evidence that the address was “confusingly similar” to its own trademark, that the previous owner had a lack of genuine interest in the usage of the address, and that they had used it in “bad faith”.

Three years after announcing the game, Square Enix finally revealed Dragon Quest X in full. Contrary to popular debate and discussion, Quest is still coming to Wii as an online RPG, and it’s being developed in parallel to a Wii U version that will feature upgraded graphics. No doubt many will scoff at Dragon Quest coming to Wii and additionally to Nintendo’s new platform. A couple significant details regarding Dragon Quest X have come to light in the aftermath of Square Enix’s press conference. As the company updated its site and basic FAQ for the game, it revealed that it plans to require an online presence – and money – to complete the game.

Though much of our attention is on full retail releases like The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, every so often a WiiWare game looks too captivating to ignore. MotoHeroz, from RedLynx (the makers of the XBLA game Trials HD), is one of those titles. We now know when the game will be available for download — next Thursday, September 15.
We first had a chance to go hands-on with MotoHeroz back at GDC 2011. We loved the game’s quirky, accessible racing that was as much about platforming as...
