After years in the making, La-Mulana won’t be making it to WiiWare after all.
“Regarding La-Mulana, we have chosen to cancel publishing in North America and Europe for WiiWare.” That’s the official word sent out today via publisher Nicalis’ official Twitter account. Tyrone Rodriguez, publisher at Nicalis, explained further in comments to GoNintendo:
“The decision to cancel publishing of La-Mulana was a tough call, but waiting two years for NIGORO to finish development...

Satoru Iwata has a headache and it’s a triple-Tylenol zinger. Wii U will almost certainly be priced as Nintendo’s most expensive product launch ever. Although the price has not been announced, most commentators – including IGN – believe it will come in at a minimum of $299, possibly even more.
The last time Nintendo launched a games machine, it opted for a too-high price, and was forced into a $70 price cut just six months after launch. The 3DS debacle was an extremely painful...

Last night Nintendo strongly signaled its intent to push both its portable and home console efforts into the modern era. Though this move allows the 3DS to operate on more...

It’s a rare event when a game in development actually has its release date moved up the calendar, but Capcom’s now positioned Resident Evil 6 to debut in less than six months. That gives us only half a year to accomplish a little project we’ve dreamed up — replaying all the past RE games. First up, Resident Evil Zero.
Unmet ExpectationsLet’s pull no punches right from the start here — in hindsight RE0 is clunky. It used the same stiff, dated control scheme of tank-like...

Update 4:33pm (BST):
Ubisoft has released the following statement:
“An internal video showing images of Rayman Origins’ sequel has leaked over the Internet. This video was intended as a purely internal demonstrative video, and in NO way represents the final game, the final console or their features. This video was destined for internal production teams who often create game prototypes with work in progress development kits. Ubisoft confirms the development of Rayman Legends handled...

Nintendo plans on pushing Wii U into bold new digital territory for a console. The publisher plans on having this service in place with the system’s launch, though indicated only first party software would be involved at this point.
The Nintendo 3DS will feature the digital/package...
