Final Fantasy Type-0 (formerly Final Fantasy Agito XIII) was another game that got its first real nuts-and-bolts showing at Square Enix’s press conference last week. That wasn’t surprising, but the sudden name-change announcement — first revealed with a European trademark filing last month — was. “The game has changed vastly since the time we first announced Agito XIII,” producer Yoshinori Kitase explained to Famitsu magazine in this week’s issue. “It’s...

Prepare your heart-strings. They are about to be tugged. Dig this story: Hans Smith, a 25-year-old uber baseball fan, has never actually played the game. He has cerebral palsy, so Smith plays a lot of video game baseball instead.
Smith wrote a letter to Sony, creators of The Show series of games, and the company was so impressed with his passion that they included Smith as a playable character in MLB 10: The Show. With MLB 11: The Show, the company has gone even further, and created an entirely...

The rumor mill suggests Sony will officially unveil the PSP2 on Thursday. If and when it does, Japanese newspaper Nikkei is reporting the device will feature a large OLED touch screen and 3G wireless support.
