Sony has offered gamers a detailed glimpse at the upcoming Ellie Edition of Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us. Exclusive to GAME, the Ellie Edition is one of two special editions available for the post-apocalyptic adventure, with the other SKU focusing on her companion, Joel. Bethesda has release the first images of Tango Gameworks’ hotly-anticipated survival horror IP, The Evil Within. Conceived by Resident Evil legend Shinji Mikami, The Evil Within is scheduled for release on PlayStation 3, PC, Xbox 360 and ‘next-generation consoles’ in 2014. Rumor: Batman: Arkham Origins to feature multiplayer

According to a report released by Kotaku, the third installation in the dark, Gotham-based Arkham series, Batman: Arkham Origins, will feature a multiplayer mode, a first for the franchise. Kotaku cites "two independent sources". Namco Bandai has taken the wraps off the official launch trailer for ‘bro-op’ outing Star Trek, which beams down into U.S. stores today and hits the U.K. on Friday. The sci-fi actioner features an original story set between the events of 2009’s Star Trek flick and the upcoming sequel, into Darkness. Insomniac Games has confirmed on the U.S. PlayStation Blog that its beloved Ratchet & Clank franchise is officially getting the movie treatment.
