Get ready for perhaps the most crowded open beta weekend ever. Blizzard just announced that everyone with a valid Battle.net account will be able to sample the Diablo magic this weekend, starting Friday at noon Pacific time and going until Monday at 10AM.
Start downloading the client now, because it’s gonna get crazy.
Characters will be limited to level 13, which (based on my time in the beta) is probably three hours’ worth of killing things, but you’ll be able to do it with each...

Since its debut with Shadowrun and Halo 2 in May 2007, Games for Windows Live has done little but create ill will between Microsoft and PC gamers. Despite repeated insistence that it will improve given time, Microsoft’s actions have spoken much louder, and crystal clear: it’s demonstrated a neglectful attitude and an unwillingness to compete with Steam’s dominance. Yet for some reason refuses to simply pull the plug and put GFWL out of its misery, instead inviting developers to...

Legends of Pegasus sure is coming along nicely and it looks like a lot of fun. At a glace it kind of reminds me of Sins of a Solarwhaaaaa?!?! They just said that at the end of their latest trailer? Bold words indeed, BOLD words.
The last time we wrote about Pegasus back in January, some of you pointed out a number of inspirations that it’s clearly drawing inspiration from, like Galactic Civilizations 2 and of course, Sins of a Solar Empire. So it’s a pretty ballsy move on their part...

Blacklight: Tango Down was a huge hit for fans of first person shooters. When Blacklight Retribution was announced as a free to play online MMOFPS, our ears pricked up. See how it fares in our latest review.
Blacklight: Retribution isn’t your average online shooter. There are lots of people out there who would cringe at the thought of playing a free-to-play online shooter. I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm one of them too. The flood of substandard, badly named and outdated-looking...

We all know how the Napoleonic Wars ended. Napoleon finally met his match at Waterloo, was defeated, and was exiled to Saint Helena, where he eventually died. But hoo boy were the days leading up to his defeat exciting. Taking over countries, freezing his tail off in Russia, fighting enemies on all sides. As far as endless, brutally violent wars go, Napoleon had some good ones. In an expansion for Mount & Blade: Warband launching today, Napoleonic Wars, it’s time to relive those exciting...

When most people sit down in front of their PC intending to play flight sims, there’s usually just a mouse and keyboard at their disposal. Some may have a flight stick, and a few might even have multiple monitors set up. Not air traffic controller and private pilot James Price.
Price soars through the digital skies safely in his garage, sitting in the nose of a Boeing 737. Check out James’ dedication to flight in the incredible video below, courtesy of Mercury News.
