In what appears to be an accidental listing (which has since been removed) the official Xbox website revealed a new title in its game database over the weekend, titled South Park: The Stick of Truth (via: NEOGaf).
Although it’s possibly only a working title, the boxart is clearly attributed to THQ’s upcoming South Park RPG, in development at Obsidian Entertainment, however, THQ has yet to confirm an official name for the game, referring to it only as “South Park: The Game”...

EA has today revealed their latest financial report showing Star Wars: The Old Republic has dropped from last year’s reports of 1.7 million active subscriptions to 1.3 million, a loss of 400,000 members.
EA has officially stated that the decrease in numbers is due to a cycling of “casual and trial players”, or better known as the “Honeymoon” period of new MMOs. While not all bad news, the financial report did also bring a small hint at the next patch, titled “Allies”....

If you haven’t checked out Team Meat’s The Binding of Isaac yet, you really should. The Super Meat Boy developer’s second game is as twisted as they come, and throws back to the old-school of gaming where checkpoints and save anywhere options weren’t even part of the design document.
Today the indie team has announced a release date for an expansion to Isaac, called Wrath of the Lamb, that will only set you back US$3 on Steam and comes packed with new content – all...

The announcement of Rayman Legends — another upcoming Ubisoft game designed by Beyond Good and Evil Michel Ancel — was terrific news for fans of the acclaimed Rayman: Origins, but seemed to be another sign of postponement for those holding out for the long-promised BG&E sequel.

Let the nerd speculation begin, but Lucasarts has filed to trademark “Star Wars 1313″ (thanks Kotaku) for an alleged upcoming Star Wars-related videogame, leaving many to believe it will likely star Boba Fett, given he has gone by the alias CT-1313 in Star Wars stories past.
Followers of Star Wars canon will know that Boba Fett was actually recently killed-off in the Dark Horse comics (written by Melbourne-based Tom Taylor), so he is a hot topic right now, though this wouldn’t...

As tired as some of this generation’s franchises are getting, I’ll happily take another Dead Space.
With financial quarters coming to an end, it’s that time again.
Electronic Arts announced its fourth quarter fiscal 2012 results today, and followed that up with a call for investors and analysts.
The biggest headline? Despite making money, Star Wars: The Old Republic subscriptions are down 400,000 users, from 1.7 million to 1.3 million. EA claimed that was in line with expectations.

Electronic Arts is committed to the next generation of consoles. In a recent financial filing, the company said it will spend $80 million on "development of games for Gen4 console systems."
While the company isn’t ready to say which titles it’s developing for the PlayStation 4 (or whatever it will be called) or the next Xbox, it’s nice to know that EA is thinking ahead, and when these systems do eventually launch, there will be games out for them.
Let’s move from...
