Blizzard and Valve have reached a mutual agreement on the use of the DOTA (Defense of the Ancients) trademark, resulting in the name of of the upcoming official StarCraft II mod Blizzard DOTA to Blizzard All-stars — however, player-create maps of Blizzard products will still be able to use the DOTA moniker.
Valve’s DOTA 2 title will remain unchanged.
