We were doubtful it would ever happen – but it seems the Japanese gaming gods have smiled down on us stateside gamers once more. No, no news on Pandora’s Tower – but we did find out today that the Japanese strategy RPG crossover Pokemon + Nobunaga’s Ambition will be coming to the U.S. as Pokemon Conquest. The game is an insane/insanely awesome crossover between the popular Pokemon series and Tecmo Koei’s strategy series, Nobunaga’s Ambition. It will feature turn-based,...

During the Nintendo Direct press conference in February, a 3DS collaboration between SEGA, Namco Bandai and Capcom was announced. Now, a countdown appearing on the game’s official site hints that the first details may be on the way soon. Updated this morning, the countdown is set to expire in one week. The site doesn’t provide any additional details, though it does include eerie sounds, smoke, a flashing light and a puddle of water. Not much is known about the collaboration between...

Media Create’s weekly sales charts have been released, chronicling how the Japanese game industry is doing. Translated by Andriasang, the data, covering the week spanning from March 26th through April 1st, continues to paint a great picture for Nintendo while painting an equally poor picture for Sony. Kingdom Hearts 3D and Kid Icarus Uprising were the two games primarily responsible for Nintendo 3DS’ huge sales. On the backs of those games (as well as others), Nintendo sold 121,921 Nintendo...

Though information is still scarce, we do know that it will be a full, 2D platforming adventure featuring animated sprites and layered backgrounds enhanced by the system’s...

Nintendo made a lot of Pokemon fans happy this morning with the confirmation that the DS game Pokemon Conquest will be getting a U.S. release on June 18, 2012. If that title sounds unfamiliar to you, it’s probably because you already know it as Pokemon x Nobunaga’s Ambition. Rhythm Thief and the Emperor’s Treasure review

Posted by on Apr 04, 2012 | Leave a Comment

There’s something poignant about the timing of Rhythm Thief’s release, arriving as it does while SEGA suffers its worst financial crisis since the demise of the Dreamcast.
