CCP confirms Dust 514 is free-to-play title

Developer CCP has confirmed that its forthcoming PlayStation 3 MMO FPS Dust 514 will be free to download and play. New DC Universe Online DLC dated

The next batch of downloadable content for DC Universe Online, Battle for Earth, will be up for grabs on PlayStation 3 and PC on March 13. According to PC Gamer, the DLC will include the new Earth Powers set in addition to a raid to protect Wonder Woman’s island of Themyscira. The raid will feature appearances by mythical creatures including Cyclops, Hydra and Colossus, plus Chimeric Brainiacs. Capcom has been working on a new entry in cult beat-‘em-up franchise Darkstalkers since last year, according to Internet reports. VentureBeat got the scoop from an inside source, which claims Darkstalkers 4 is indeed in development with Street Fighter IV overlord Yoshinori Ono at the helm. [UPDATE] PlayStation Network maintenance rescheduled for Sunday

We reported earlier this week that Thursday’s maintenance was going to be postponed, but Sony has now rescheduled that maintenance for tomorrow, March 4. The network will go down around noon Pacific Time on Sunday and the maintenance will continue until 2 am the following day. All users who are offline won’t be able to sign in, and everyone signed in will be automatically signed out and unable to sign back in until the maintenance is complete.
