During the past few years we’ve seen a couple different brands of fightsticks pop up, most notably, the Mad Catz TE sticks. Newcomer to the scene — at least in the US — is Eightarc; they’ve partnered with Chinese manufacturer Quanba to bring high quality, premium sticks to the forefront. Square-Enix has unleashed a fresh trio of Hitman: Absolution screenshots for you to gawp at.

Hitman: Absolution is currently in development at IO Interactive for PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360, with a release date due for later in 2012. SuperBot Entertainment looks set to add Yorda and Nariko – of ICO and Heavenly Sword fame, respectively – to PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale’s extensive character roster.
That’s according to a snapshot (via NeoGAF) from some recent footage of the brawler, which seems to depict art assets of a flame-haired female (Nariko) and familiar damsel in distress Yorda.

Sony confirms PSN downtime for May 9

Sony’s confirmed that it has scheduled maintenance for PlayStation Network next Wednesday, May 9.
Downtime will begin at 4 p.m. and will wrap up at midnight. The maintenance just so happens to coincide with the day curious-looking adventure Datura hits the PlayStation Store.
As per usual, the downtime will affect services such as the PlayStation Store, Account Management, PlayStation Home and Account Registration.
Sign-in before the maintenance and you should be able to continue playing online,...
