WRC 3 confirmed for October release

WRC 3 will be swerving into stores in October 2012 for PlayStation 3, PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation Vita, Milestone has announced. The official video game companion to the 2012 FIA World Rally Championship (WRC), the racer will feature an all-new game and visuals, and includes all rallies in the 2012 WRC calendar as well as leading teams and drivers. Escape Plan prequel DLC announced

PlayStation Vita puzzler Escape Plan will receive a free batch of downloadable content on April 10, Sony has announced. In addition to patching the game to 1.01, the update also adds Bakuki’s Lair, which supplements the main game with 19 prequel puzzle rooms and fleshes out the core narrative. The DLC also implements a few balance changes pertaining to scoring and controls, and Sony says this will lay the foundation for future updates. Sony is “confident” that the firm will have its next-generation console out the door before competitor Microsoft, claims a new report. Soul Calibur V developer talks cut story content

Soul Calibur V head Daishi Odashima has revealed that the weapons-based brawler’s ambitious story plans were trimmed due to lack of available time and man power. Bethesda has hinted strongly that announcements pertaining to DLC for both The Elder Scrolls V: Skryim and Rage will drop this month. Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy will receive fresh downloadable content in the form of a song from the still unreleased Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Square has announced.
