Steve Ellis, co-founder of TimeSplitters developer Free Radial Design, has revealed that the company was working on Star Wars Battlefront 3 and 4 before the studio was snapped up by Crytek. Layoffs hit EA Montreal

Publishing giant Electronic Arts has confirmed that a ‘very small number’ of layoffs will hit its Montreal studio this week. Konami patching Silent Hill Downpour and HD Collection

Konami today announced it will soon release patches for Silent Hill Downpour and Silent Hill HD Collection to correct frame rate and audio synch issues. Development teams are currently working on patches for both games—including auto-save issues in Downpour. We can expect a fix in the coming weeks. A resume for game designer Jeremie Benhamou unearthed by Superannuation reveals that he has been working on Dead Space 3, Army of Two 3 and an unspecified EA project at Visceral Games for the past three years. Reports cropped up over the weekend of gamers being unable to take Twisted Metal online in Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) territories.
