Screenshots from 0x10c, Notch’s new sci-fi game, have leaked. They’re totally a work in progress, and seem to have never been meant to be seen by the public, but still, it’s an interesting look at the process of game development, right?

Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2 will feature new characters and maps. In the beginning you’ll be able to chose to play as a male or female trainer, both of which are brand new! Naturally, your rival will be a new character as well. Akuroma has been announced as the "Pokemon Expert," but it’s not clear if he will serve as Prof. Oak or Bill.
Two gym leaders have been revealed as well. Their names are Homika and Shizui. I think it’s safe to say their name will be changed...

Sony today announced it is axing 10,000 jobs as part of a plan to pull out of a historically dismal financial spiral. The good news for gamers: Sony name-checked its gaming division as a key part of its strategy for recovery.
