Two peculiar features await Xbox 360 owners who decide to go to war with Battlefield 3: Limited Edition. First, the game arrives on two disks, one for single-player and the other for multiplayer. It’s an oddity, but considering the DVD’s limitations, it’s a logical split. Actually, it’s more logical than you would ever expect – but more on that later.
You’re also greeted with the option to install an HD texture pack. The install is completely optional, though you’ll...

Generally speaking, the Dragon Ball games look way better than they play. Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi is the latest example of this trend, as it delivers a visually faithful experience that completely fails to deliver anything in the way of meaningful gameplay. That didn’t stop the subpar Raging Blast games from selling well, and I doubt it will hinder Ultimate Tenkaichi. To the game’s credit, however, Akira Toriyama’s character and environment designs are well-reproduced...

Battlefield 3 introduces Frostbite 2, DICE’s new engine, and it’s a real looker. It’s not as big a visual jump as the one between Bad Company and Bad Company 2, but it’s still a great-looking game. The chaos of the battlefield is not always constant; this ensures that every time something huge happens, you’re in a state of shock and awe. It’s really something when your squad is trying to make a stealthy approach to a capture point or an M-COM station only to...

The whole experience of GoldenEye 007: Reloaded is decidedly James Bond. From the likenesses of the characters, to the comments you hear following online missions, to the background music, you will definitely know that you are stepping into the shoes of the world famous spy. This is a game, based on a previous game, based on a movie. But instead of Pierce Brosnan as 007, we get the new Bond hotness, Daniel Craig, and the likeness is spot-on, with Craig also doing the voiceovers. Naturally, they...

Does Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 live up to the hype? You bet.
In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, they’ve taken the full scale battle to America and much of what you see is in ruins. In the Single Player Campaign, you’ll start off in a razed...
